Bryan's passion for Weightlifting began in 2014 during a CrossFit class involving the snatch. Having no clue what he was doing, Bryan was eager to learn. He quickly joined a Weightlifting club and was hooked ever since. Bryan has competed in a plethora of Weightlifting competitions, most notably a national level competition called The Arnold. Not only did this fuel his passion for the sport and movement, it also brought a desire to coach and give back to a sport that has given him so much. Having received his USA Weightlifting certification in 2016. Bryan has been coaching ever since.
Outside of Weightlifting, Bryan is a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Part of what fueled him to pursue advanced education was his coaching career. Members and athletes would experience occasional aches and pains for which he had no answer. This did not sit well with him, so he decided to advance his knowledge to better live out his personal mission of empowering others to better care for themselves through movement. Three years and a Doctoral degree later, Bryan can honestly say he has gotten what he was looking for and more. Bryan's experience and education brings a unique perspective to the Clean Slate Weightlifting team.
Additional fun facts: Bryan likes to hike, travel, and spend quality time with family and friends. He enjoys craft beer with good company and a good cup of coffee every morning. He is a big fan of South Park and Rick and Morty and may or may not quote from either show a little too much.
Bryan looks forward to helping you achieve your goals!
